Hi There, I am Kerry Ross and I am so pleased you’ve visited my website!

I am a Registered Nurse turned self-taught artist. I started drawing daily in the spring of 2020 hopeful to brighten my family’s day and make the day different or special in some small way. I absolutely fell in love with art, illustration, and hand-lettering; I never imagined this in my future but I am so thrilled to be on this bright and beautiful path that is lit before me.

I use a combination of colored pencils and digital techniques to illustrate characters in fun, sweet, and/or comical situations. Of course, that is subjective… wink, wink!

God and this big beautiful world He created are my inspiration; and in particular I love drawing birds and water. There are so many different types of birds and I love all their beautifully colored feathers; and there is just something about water that makes me take a deep breath and relax! I am passionate and delighted to create beautiful hand-lettered phrases, adorably whimsical characters, and magical scenes that bring a smile, laughter, or maybe silence.

My intention through illustration is to highlight the beauty that surrounds us all, while using softly blended colors. Illustration brings me a lot of joy and my hope is that love, peace, and joy shine through each piece and gently land on each individual.
